I am loving this site, Pat. I haven't had time to go through it all, but with time I will get that done. You have done a fantastic job, as usual. I really appreciate this site. It has given me a way to share my home town with my daughters and grand children. They have never been to Ridgecrest or any desert for that matter. The stories and photos give them something to relate to when I am telling them things about my childhood. Thanks a whole, whole bunch! Pam

I was in the Royal Australian Air Force stationed at China Lake between July 1993 and July 1996. My family enjoyed our 3 years in Ridgecrest, we many wonderful people and my daughter was born there.

Pat, your site is just marvelous!! You've done such a great job. Thank you so much for your hard work. I do have some things I would like to insert somewhere and I will get them straight in my brain and email them later. Such as, I lived at Sandquist Spa when we first moved to the desert. My dad had many businesses in town, Desert TV, FedPlan Store, Valley View Airpark, Barbeque Pit, etc. More about all this later. Again, thanks, Pat, you are a marvel!! nancy wilhelm
