I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Pat Jones, my friend. I talked with Pat, just a few weeks ago. He stated, at that time, that he had someone in Ridgecrest who would take over this website; should he pass on. I pray that is true. Pat was a good man; he will be remembered. My sympathy goes out to his wife. I'm curious who will take over the website; good luck to them in their efforts. I also noticed that a guest entree, dated 1-23-2009 states that "Gerard says that Asia Pharmacy is now on line". I do not have anything to do with that entree and I urge caution to anyone who logs on from the highlighted portions. It could very easily be a scam; so please be careful. Roy J. Gerard.

My sister Betty Lynn Hughes McClintock and I moved to China Lake and Ridgecrest Ca when I was in the 5th grade. I loved living in China Lake. I still remember so many things from this time in my life. The best hamburgers ever were made in Ridgecrest. We use to walk from China Lake to town just to get a burger. We loved going to the fair. In fact I went on my first date to the fair. Lots of good memories. We lived there from 1959 to 1963, and we would love to here from long lost friends.
