Still think R/C was an important time in my life... I met some great friends there like Roddy Robbs and Mike Kamen. Both of who I still keep in touch with every now and again... But what about the people that I never kept in touch with who were also very important in my life? Like Kelli Menni (sp) and Rebecca Workman, anyone know whatever happened to them... If you know where they are, pass my e-mail along...
I miss working at KLOA and KRAJ (are they still around?) Miss Dj'ing the O and EM Clubs too... Dont miss Trona too much though!
Love getting back 'home'.....

My parents built a house in Inyokern in 1988 and we lived there for 6 years then moved away... Moved back to Ridgecrest in 1999 and stayed until 2006. I went to Murray then to Burroughs.. graduated in 05. Rough people.. But I loved the town... Loved being able to sit out in the 100 degree heat and bake! lol

Great website!

Great site! I want to spend more time looking through it.
My dad went to China Lake as a Jr. Professional, my mom was a "Navy Brat" They were married at China Lake in 1957 and we celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in R/C early last year. My uncle and my mom went to Burroughs when it was where Murray is now. My oldest sister still lives there. All 4 of us kids graduated from BHS as well as a niece and a nephew - that's 3 generations of BHS graduates. I think that's pretty cool.
I will share some memories and I will forward a link to this site to may parents. I bet they haven't seen it.

Growing up in Ridgecrest was a great experience. Dirt bike riding for hours and hours everyday rain, sun or snow. Tough town with tough people. hardened by the desert life. For all my friends who still live there or might read this, love you all.
