I have lost touch with everyone. I come back once a year to see my family. My mom and 2 sisters still live in the area. I went to the 20 year reunion, but have not been to anything since. I retire in about 5 1/2 years from UPS where I will have worked for 25 years. When I retire I plan to move back to Ridgecrest.

This note is in regard to the one sent in on 6-28-2008;
from "Dee Black".......class of 51. I hope this allows the
E-Mail that was requested. The graduation class of 1951
was one of Burroughs High Schools best ! Bias intended.
Dee's name, as well as others, bring back great memories.
The e-mail address is a new one, so all my friends in the
Ridgecrest area will have to update. Good luck and enjoy.
When the "old grads" from 1947 on, talk (there's not many
still around); they remember that Burros Football Teams were
only 6-man teams. Like everything else; Burros started slow.
This H-D-M site is by far still one of the best around. RJG

I went to R/C as a new mechanical engineer just out of Cal Poly SLO.
Heard about this place from a classmate, whose parents lived in Trona.
Came for an interview and decided this was the type of work that I would like to do. Never regreted the decision.
