Hi Pat.  Long time no see.  I came back and taught school in Ridgecrest/China Lake until 98 when I quit and now sell real estate for Century 21 in Kernville.  Good to hear from you.

I was just a kid when I lived in China Lake but do remember a few things.  Movies only cost ten cents to get in back then.  My family always had fun going to Kern River and staying at Camp 3.  There was a round rock in the middle of the river that us kids liked jumping off of.  The last time that I went to China Lake I realized that the whole section of town where I had lived was leveled.  I lived at 58B Ringgold Street.  I went to Viewig, Rowe Street and Grove Street schools when I lived there.  I was eleven when we moved away in 1959.  I do miss the past and wonder what happened to childhood friends like Mike Mead and Mike Sorge.  If I find any pictures I will be sure to send them in.

I dated a guy that went to this high school and graduated in 88. I was checking to see if he was anywhere on the site. No such luck. I will have to keep looking. (O:
