Comments: Trona Pool was the highlight of my youth. The picnics and car load of food and fun. One year my ponytail got caught in the tube air spout and I almost drowned but I didnt. We would go over there for the food and music and I had a crush on the owners son.
Another memory was riding my four wheeler up around Cerro Coso and exploring caves. Growing up was awesome the best time of my life. I knew: Benahe Lowe, Garret Anderson, Everett Scott, Andrew Thomas, Clayton Hogart, Nicole Dugan and Monica Sanchez to name a few.
I worked at John's Pizza - that was the place to work back in the 80's. Ridgecrest had it going on back then. I have been a here visiting for about 2 weeks and Ridgecrest has changed. From knowing almost everyone to knowing almost no-one is a big change.

I was born and raised on base at what was then N.O.T.S. China Lake. after tech School in Phoenix and a 3 year ti=our of Duty in the Army, I work on base for 25 years then retired after my Job was contracted out in 1998. I remember a story my dad, Chuck Adams, telling when I was young about a test out at S.N.O.R.T. where they put a Monkey in one of the Sleds and lite it off with a Banana in its hand, they say the Monkey never touch another Banana again! I have been trying to find more varification on this.
