It was a great place to grow up and to raise my daughter. I, like so many others will always see Ridgecrest as home but, I couldn't wait to get as far away as I could from Ridgecrest. My daughter, Ashley, and my granddaughter, Zoey, still live in Ridgecrest and I try to visit as often as I can.

Many wonderful memories of living in the Indian Wells Valley! And I love this site...wish I'd found it sooner! My fondest life memories were made in the shadows of those mountain ranges with the desert wind blowing through my hair and the summer sun beating down on my skin....I miss Ridgecrest and hate leaving everytime I visit. Thanks for a great site that takes me back whenever I want!

Comments: I've always loved history. Currently I work in Ridgecrest as a firefighter for the county. One of my hobbies is metal detecting and exploring historic sites. Just got back from Keysville area. Plan on stopping on the way home through Walker Pass and do some detecting and hopefully meeting some residents for history lessons.
