I haven't looked at this site in a couple of years. I love coming back to it because it brings back so many good memories. No one will ever see as beautiful sunset as we saw most every evening. The pics are georgeous! Thank you for the step back in time-it was a very happy time in my life...

Just wrote an email telling you that I couldn't get the guestbook to come up...just found out how to do it! Really showing my computer literacy. Love the High Desert Memories. Also want to thank you for the opportunity to reach others. Found the name of one of my classmates that I've not spoken to since graduation and have sent the email hoping to make contact. Thanks and I'll keep checking you out. Best regards.

Thanks for putting the Fish Rock story on your site. I did exchange some historical info with D'laine on Classmates and will try to get more info to you. My father is in the process of writing a book about the history of Ridgecrest but it is taking longer than he thought. I'll be glad to help you with your site. John Fox

We have visited ridgecrest and trona 3 or 4 times now, passing through from southern california, through the panamints and death valley to las vegas. it is always a memorable part of our holidays, the scenery is staggering, and we never stay long enough. the last visit was in april 2003, beautiful weather and scenery. the people are great too. terrific community spirit.

I remember giving the english lady in the gas station some english teabags, she asked us for some when we were there in april 2002.

China Lake has always been a memorable part of my life, serving as foundation for much of who I am today. I am still in touch with some of the people who were part of my life in those days and I always enjoy hearing more about China Lake and our lives there.
